I wrote What Waits Within in fits and starts over the past ten years. With the advent of the  Internet, I decided to publish it as an ebook. That means you can download it and read it right now. The publisher is eBookstand, and it is available right now in PDF, which is an Adobe Acrobat Reader format. If you have a Mac or PC, PDF is read easily. It  is also available in Palm Pilot (PDB) format. The download PDF file is 205 standard sized (8 1/2 x 11), single spaced pages. 

The story itself is intended to entertain and to provoke the reader's thinking. I mean it to be a different, vivid journey, and one not easily forgotten. It begins where most stories don't, and ends up in a very surprising place. There is a supernova, Roman soldiers, a Catholic orphanage, Vietnam, bizarre murders in strange places, hospitals, love, psychiatrists, and a horrible secret that goes back nearly 2000 years.  It contains descriptions of  graphic violence and murder, some erotic interludes, and a compelling assortment of characters, locations, and situations. The ending will surprise you, and probably scare you. Some chapters may not be for the very squeamish. Download this, and you'll be up all night reading it, as many will attest.
