Discussions on Education

 A new student forum that looks very promising. This is an effort to have students from all over the world share ideas on a number of topics.
The Vent:  Part of the ProTeacher web site, this is a great place for NEW or BEGINNING teachers to let off steam, share ideas, and meet like-minded people. Vent II is for experienced teachers. Well worth your time.
New York Times Forums: A large collection of fora, including some very good education discussions.
The National Teaching and Learning Forum : A nicely organized discussion group full of interesting opinions, ideas, and comments about education at all levels.
Google Discussions: Hundreds of discussion fora on a variety of topics, including, of course, education.
Teachers' Net : This one is BIG! Teachers share ideas, opinions, problems, etc., in an easy to use forum.
